These crochet kits from Rico come in a variety of charming amigurumi-style designs to work up in their excellent Ricorumi DK cotton. The finished stuffies vary in dimensions but work up to approximately 10 - 12 cm in height, making them eminently squeezable companions, bag charms, mascots or confidants.
The kits are suitable for ages 9 and up, and use only a couple of stitches, and some simple embroidery, but do require a some basic crochet experience. Please note that the included instructions use UK crochet terms, but are easily adapted to North American terminology (ie. UK double crochet = NA single crochet).
Each kit includes:
- 4 balls of Ricorumi yarn, in colours and proportions required to complete the project
- additional small amounts of yarn for embellishment and finishing details
- 3 mm crochet hook
- tapestry needle for embroidery and finishing
- pattern instructions
